A question about a check, a saved note or a database update? Tell us what happened.
Useful details to include
- Database version shown in About, and app version if available.
- Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS or iPadOS version.
- What you were doing and the problem you encountered.
Please do not send passwords, access credentials or an entire inspection database. Leave out private ship and crew details.
A few useful answers
I installed a new database. Why does my inspection show the old one?
Start a new inspection to use the newly installed edition. Existing inspections and drafts keep their original edition, so their questions and findings retain their meaning.
How do I keep an unfinished note?
The note saves while you type. Check the save message beside it. “Draft saved” means your unfinished work is saved; it does not record a completed main answer. If saving fails, keep the app open and retry.
How do I correct an accidental answer?
Open “View details” and choose “Change last answer”. The correction keeps the earlier history.
